Michael Lewis Obituary

MICHAEL DOUGLAS LEWIS Age 32, born July 22, 1971 in Fremont, CA. Passed from this life on August 23, 2003 in Napa, CA. Mike graduated from Irvington High School, Class of 1990. Mike was an avid sports fan and participated in many youth basketball teams. Baseball, Basketball and other sports were among the many things that peeked his interest. Mike is survived by a loving family: mother, Peggy Pharr and stepfather, John; father, James Lewis and stepmother, Joanne; brother, Rick Lewis and sister-in-law, Shannon; grandmother, Virginia McQueen and great grandmother, Mildred Hilburn; stepbrothers and sister, Ricky, Michael and Veronica Sandner and nieces and nephews, Brittany Lewis, Tyler Lewis, Jessica Archuletta, James Archuletta and Ryan Sandner. Mike will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 1:00 p.m., Calvary Church, 16330 Los Gatos Blvd., Los Gatos, CA. Family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to St. Leonard's/Santa Paula Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Basketball in Fremont, CA in memory of Michael Douglas Lewis. Arrangements under the direction of Colonial Chapels, Vallejo.

I had just spoke to mike last month and it was good to hear from him again.I am so glad i did because you never know when your time on earth is over.I was sad to hear of his passing.He was always a nice friend to me and i will cherish that for the rest of my life.Rest in peace mike.Your friend,DANNY.
