Miguel Garcia Sr.

MIGUEL GARCIA, SR. Passed away November 28, 2002 at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Rosario, of San Mateo; loving father of Delfinio, Lydia and the late Benjamin San Jose, Delia Carvalho, Miguel Garcia, Jr., Gloria Muniz, Ricardo Garcia and the late Delfina Nathan. He was Papa to twenty-three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Miguel had served in the US Navy and was a retired superintendent of stock at Hunters Point and Oakland Naval Supply. He was a member of the Filipino Cardona Club. Visitation will begin at 4PM on Monday, December 2, 2002 at O'Connell's Chapel, 1311 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo with a Vigil Service at 7PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Timothy's Church, 1515 Dolan Avenue, San Mateo, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
