Pat was born in Inwood, Long Island, New York. He was the youngest child born to the late Mamie & Pasquale Lisa. Proceeded in death by his lovely wife, Nancy J. Lisa; son, Patrick A. Lisa; all his brothers & sisters, Dominick (Bertha) of El Paso, TX; John (Betty) of New York; Michael (Vivian) of West Pittsburg, CA; Carmella (Eddy) of New York; Anna (Gus) of Oregon; Frances of New York; Vito (Doris) of Virginia.
Pat received honorable discharges from the New York National Guard and the U.S. Navy with two tours of duty in the Korean War aboard the USS Philip (DDE 498) and the USS Brush (DD 745).
He attended school in New York. After arriving in California in 1953, he returned to school earning an AA Degree from East Contra Costa Junior College and High School Diploma from Pittsburg Evening High School with many college credits from night school.
He was a lifetime member of V.F.W. 6435 Antioch and Tin Can Sailors. He worked for Praxair in Pittsburg, CA for 39 years and loved it. Before working for Praxair, he owned a gas station in Pittsburg from 1957 to 1958 but decided to sell because the long hours were not for him. He also was a real estate agent in the 70's.
He enjoyed traveling with his family and friends and loved meeting people wherever his travels took him. He enjoyed driving to see old friends around town and going to his favorite discount stores. He loved to cook for family and friends, watch sports on TV and enjoyed playing many kinds of sports, hunting and fishing, going to the coast for Abalone, and coaching little league baseball in Pittsburg and Antioch.
He loved his family and is survived by son, Richard (Kelly); daughter, Annette (Larry); and his two granddaughters, Brittany (J.T.) and Taylor (Cole).
