Phyllis Curry Obituary

PHYLLIS CURRY Died peacefully in Missoula, Montana, on December 30, 2002, surrounded by her son Doug, his wife Libby and their two children, Laurel Ann and Dylan. She will be missed by her family, friends and the many people she touched with her zest for life. Phyllis leaves her son John of Aptos, Doug and Libby of Missoula, Montana, Ann and Les Poland of Aptos and Barr and Lorraine of Redwood City. She was a special sister to Fred and Louise Williams of Sun Lakes, Arizona, a loving grandmother to Jean Marie, Leigh, Ben, Megan, Lydia, Lauren, Laurel Ann, Dylan and great grandmother to Kylie. We miss you so. Born in San Francisco to Harry and Rebecca Williams, Phyllis moved when she was five to Redwood City. She married Byron Clyde Curry on June 16, 1934. The two were avid golfers, enjoyed their many dear friends and never passed up a football game. Phyllis loved nature and the outdoors. She was a bird watcher and rock collector, traveler and artist, but nothing could compare to a game of bridge followed by a fresh crab dinner and a sunset. Honoring Phyllis' wishes, there will be no memorial services, but a gathering of family to celebrate her life and remember. Cremation and Burial Society of the Rockies 406-543-5595
