Resident of Fremont
Raphael George Sabeh passed away on October 1, 2015. He was born to George and Adele Sabeh on May 5, 1941 in Zahle, Lebanon.
Loving father of Lisa Sabeh of San Rafael and Reema Sabeh of Novato. Cherished brother of Salwa Aboumrad, Nabiha Najjar, and Sy Najjar all of Fremont. Devoted grandfather of Grace and Jack Caldwell. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Raphael was a prolific reader and avid walker. He loved to cook and spend time with his family. He was a longtime Fremont realtor in various family real estate companies.
Family and friends are invited to attend a 5:00 - 8:00 PM visitation on Friday, October 9th with a 7:00 PM Vigil at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538. A 10:00 AM Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 10th at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made in Raphael's name to "U.N.H.C.R" (United Nations Higher Council of Refugees) @ http://unhcr.org/international/general.

The passing off Raphael brought back a ton of memories! We worked together in the early 70's. His warmth, humor and wit were special. My husband and I send our condolences to his daughters and family.
