Rena Ragon

Rena Jean (Cooney) Ragon Resident of Pleasant Hill Passed away at her home on February 6, 2012. Born in San Francisco, California, on December 23, 1923, she was 88 years old. She was the wife of Eugene Warren Ragon (Daddy-o) born in Marigold, California July 7,1918 and passed away on December 21,2006. Rena was a homemaker, day care provider and health care aide for many years. She was active in the Senior Center and Mad Hatters of Pleasant Hill. Eugene retired as Manager of Western Electric Credit Union in 1980 and a veteran of WWII in the Army Air Corps. They are survived by 3 children, Stephen Ragon (wife Kathy) of Livermore; Christine Cooper of Pleasant Hill; Russell Ragon of Montana; 4 Grandchildren, Suzanne Turner, Michael Ragon, Deby Vaughn and Daniel Lander; 6 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. She will lay rest with Daddy-o at a service at the Sacramento Valley Veteran's Cemetery.
