What an honor to care for Rich as he was hospitalized at my place of work. He was nothing short of a class act, never complaining, always smiling, always hoping he wasn't putting any of the staff out because he didn't want to be a 'bother'. Rich stands out as my patient of the decade, due to how uncomfortable and painful he was, yet never wanting to inconvenience any of us with his needs. What a gentleman, what a fine man he truly was. I know he will be missed greatly. It is so wonderful to see this smiling happy man in the picture above, because his attitude while sick was certainly a testament to the life he lived while well. God be with you, Carole.

Carole, I am so saddened and sorry for the loss of your wonderful husband.
We were neighbors, friends, and even dance partners througout the many years I had the privledge of knowing him.
Dickie as I knew him was one of the most kind, warm, happy, and loving kid, teen, and man that I knew.
May you be comforted with the beautiful life and memories you shared.

May God Bless You by keeping you strong during this difficult time. Over the years we respected Richard for all of the love and caring he showed toward you. We called him the model husband and you the model wife.

From my memories of Richard, you got it down to a "T." The only thing more, that I remember, was his love of golf and getting out the door to play with an Hawaiian shirt on...Great smile and person. Mahlon Duke
