When not on the road, Stan was often found on the sidelines of his grandchildren's school and sporting events. He was also a 25-year member of Walnut Creek Elks Lodge #1811. Pat & Family, Annette and I are sadden to hear of Stan's passing. We remember the wonderful times we had in LaPine, and very fond memory of your visit to our home in Salem. -- Stan was a very special person, he was a true american, a role model for his family, and I shall always cherish the time we spent golfing, and our conversations that solved the world's problem's.

We pray that you and your family have found peace and comfort in knowing that Stan is with the Lord and is watching out for all.

Our deepest sympathies,

Pat & Family, my deepest sympathies to you for your loss. I remember Stan from my high school years -- he had the coolest car, coolest boat, and, although older than I, he was always friendly to me. I was delighted that you, Pat, and he married --- I thought it was a terrific match...and apparently so. You have treasured memories and a wonderful family. My prayers are with all of you.

Going through school with Stan I remember when lining up alpheticly he was always number one in line for everything. I can't remember if it was a good thing or a bad thing. Maybe some of both. I missed seeing him at some of the class of 57 outings but I saw the photos that Chris put on line.
I am sure he will be missed. My prayers are with all of you.
