STEPHEN WILLIAM LUCERO
July 13, 1951 - October 19, 2015
Resident of Hayward Former Resident of Alameda
Stephen William Lucero was born July 13, 1951 in Oakland, CA. He died October 19, 2015 in Hayward, CA. Steve attended schools in Alameda, CA and graduated from Encinal High School where he excelled in wrestling and football. He was employed as a journeyman printer, with sports as his R&R - fan to the San Francisco 49ers and Giants from childhood. The latest addition to his enjoyment was Jake, the 'Cool Cat' who brought Steve laughter and joy.
He is survived by his loving companion Anita Brown; his parents Joe and Minda Lucero; his two sisters, Jeanne (Lynham) Jones and Lucero (Michael) Wallace; his nephew, Mike Mitchell; and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, November 13th at 3pm at the Churchward Pub 1515 Park St, Alameda, CA 94501. For further information please call: Harry W. Greer, Funeral Director (FDR-745).. alamedafuneral.org
