Every morning I wake up I play CHANGES and FOR EVERY MOUNTAIN to start my day cause it is so hard for me to really let go (i am being selfish) cause I can't hear your voice and see you again until we see each other again. I am crying at this moment writing this cause it hurt all of us especially me (you know I am a BIG BABY) but guess what I have your sisters Lynne And Bootie to stay on me, it good they do that but sometimes, but I miss hearing you discipline me. Please cuz stay holding me and seeing after me cause ti still hurts. I LOVE AND MISS YOU REALLY ALOT DEE DEE. YOUR LIL CUZ MARIA

To all that signed this guest book, send flowers, beautiful cards, food, money and being there with us: I want to say THANK YOU, your acts of kindness and prayers will not be forgotten. If anyone was omitted, our family wants to apologize. You weren't overlooked. This has been a real tough time for all of us. We all loved DEE DEE so much and just knowing she's gone is really hard to deal with. I know my sister is now resting in peace, but I'm still being selfish wishing that God would have waited just a few more years. But I have comfort in knowing that Dee is with my Mother and Father and my son. Again, the NEWSOME Family wants to THANK ALL for their prayers, love and support.

To The Family
Norma,Lynn,Cherry,Moan,Mesha and all other reletives and friends.
May the Lord wrap you in his loving arms the way you have wrapped your arms around our family in our time of need. I am so sorry I couldn't make it to the home going of a Beautiful Sister, Mother, Aunt, Cousin and Delightful Friend we all know as Dee Dee. I was in the hospital the day of the home going, but thinking of her and how she touched my life. You always knew when Dee Dee in the room, her smile and voice could light up an entire room. I hadn't seen her in while and this I do regret but I will always carry precious memories of earlier years we spent together as friends that I'll cherish forever.
You are a Beautiful and strong family who has been though much as both of our families have in the past years. I know the Lord will give you strength to get though this also. We know that Dee Dee will always be with us because we carry her in our hearts, when we look at her lovely children we see her smile shining though. Dee Dee and our other loved ones didn't leave us, they just went on ahead of us....we will see all of them one day in heaven. But until then they will watch over us lovingly.
I have written many poems in my lifetime...I find that I can express myself better through poetry. I wrote this poem for Dee Dee out of Love.
Heavens Newest Angel
A Beautiful Angel knocked on heavens door
she was welcomed with Love galore
It was opened by our Heavenly Father
He told her upon entering... welcome my beloved
Tanya Diane, here you will suffer no more
open the door and come in, and welcome home
He said my Beloved child
I brought you here because it was time for you to rest
you have given this earthly world all of your best
Please don't worry about those you have left behind
I will take care of them tenderly and lovingly because they are mine
I promise you will see them again when they are finished with what they must do
but until then you and I will help them tenderly and lovingly get though
Yes my dear one ...at first they will be sad and they will cry, not understanding why
but I will comfort them as I did you
I will get them though the rough times in the middle of the night
and in time I will wipe away their tears
I will diminish their fears
I will be the rock on which they will lean
all of this has been foreseen
My Beloved child you were truly loved on earth
from the very moment of your birth
You touched so many lives, I have so much pride
you have left them so many beautiful memories behind
There will come a day when their tears will be replaced with smiles
and their hearts will be overjoyed with happiness
for having you my sweet child in their lives
But for now MY newest Angel take your place by my side
you have a new address
Heaven is where you reside.
Poem written by Sharon Mouton-Brumfield
May the Lord Bless and wrap all of you in his loving arms.

Well cousin you're in a better place now. I am trying so hard to continue to change my ways like you have told me too. It is so hard cause you were more than just a cousin, you were my second mom,my discipliner,my counselor and most of all my strength thru good and bad times in my life. I really going to miss hearing your voice and getting phone calls when you haven't heard from me. Now I can look up and say you might be gone in flesh, but always be in spirit looking over me. Oh yeah one more thing I am going to really miss you E-MAILING me all the time cause you were bored.Love You Unconditionally Dee Dee and MISS You.
Your Cousin

Warren Family:
My prayers to you all. I am a co-worker of your mom, sister, aunt, daughter. Dee Dee was a wonderful person and always thoughtful of other peoples problems. She really stood out with her words of wisdom to me when my son was nearly killed in a motorcycle accident in July of this year. I will never forget them words Dee Dee told me. My name is also Dee Dee and I work in the SF office. I remember when I first started she called me up and said I'm Dee Dee (A) and you're Dee Dee (B) because I was here longer. She will surely be missed.
Take care & God Bless,
Dee Dee Martinez
