Tina Fink Koubek, 54, of Walnut Creek, passed away on March 6, 2022, from complications related to Lupus.
She married her devoted high school sweetheart, Greg Koubek, in Lake Tahoe on a snowy April 9, 1999.
Tina was born the third child of Joseph and Elisabeth Fink in Oakland on May 12, 1967. She grew up on Bay Farm Island and graduated from Alameda High School in 1985. Tina earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance at Cal State University Hayward. She graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Tina began her career as a financial accountant at State Street Bank in Alameda, where she worked with many accounts including, The Bill Gates Foundation and CalPERS. Tina left State Street Bank to care for her parents and manage their real estate holdings. Later, Tina obtained a CA Real Estate Sale Agent license. In 2002, Tina, representing the Fink Family Trust, was honored by the City of Alameda as Section 8 Owner of the Year.
Tina loved her large family, including her siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Tina was a music fanatic, especially of The Smiths and Morrissey and enjoyed attending live concerts. She loved all animals, had an illuminating smile, an infectious laugh, and was known by friends and family as an excellent cook.
In the last few years, Tina spent many hours with Greg's mom, Sue Koubek, playing crossword puzzles and enjoying each other's company. Tina loved connecting with her friends and family.
Tina is survived by husband Greg and their two dogs, DD, and Tilly: two siblings, Suzanne Fink Cofer (Al), Edward Fink and her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and three beloved furry family members, Dusty, Dixie, and Mighty Mouse the 33rd.
Tina was loved deeply by everyone in her life and will be forever remembered as the family rock star. There was a small family gathering held at Greer Family Mortuary on March 23, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) or the Lupus Foundation of America.
