Tony Carnemolla Obituary

Tony Carnemolla Resident of Alamo Tony Carnemolla, 74, of Alamo was the dynamic, philanthropic second-term Commander-In-Chief of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 75 for the San Ramon Valley. But more important, was the beloved husband of Mary; he was an incredible father and he was a dedicated friend. Tony is preceded in death by daughter Cathy and survived by his children Jimmy, Terrie, Mickey, John, Richard and his wife, Vicky, his 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and legion of friends, most notably Clark and Betty, all of whom shall miss him. From 1964 until his death, Tony was a major contributor to his community: In 1977, he moved to Danville and established Dad's Locksmith. The city has since benefited from Tony's tireless efforts: He founded the Danville Merchants' Association, brought the Special Olympics to Danville and started the non-profit Veterans Memorial Building Development Committee of the San Ramon Valley. Tony and Mary will have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this January 10. A Vigil will be held this Tues, Dec 29th at 7 pm and a Mass Wed Dec 30th at 10:30 am at St Isidore's Church, 440 La Gonda Way, Danville. If you wish to commemorate Tony's contributions, the family humbly requests that donations be made to www.srvveteranshall.org. Wilson & Kratzer - Danville (925) 820-2999
