Victoria T. Casella

1911 - 2008 Resident of Pleasanton Passed away on December 28, 2008. She was born on February 20, 1911. Pleasanton Heritage Family - Vickie's grandfather, Paul Delucchi, settled in Pleasanton in 1882. Vickie spent her entire life in Pleasanton, graduating from Pleasanton Elementary School and Amador Valley High School. She married Andrew P. Casella in November 1938. They were married 37 years until his death in 1976. She was a secretary for Ernest Schween Insurance and also worked for many years at the Alameda County Fair. She was a life member of St. Augustine Church. She loved to travel with her husband, liked playing slot machines, bingo and cards (she was always very lucky!). She was a San Francisco Giants Baseball fan, liked gardening, was a wonderful homemaker and was famous for her Pineapple Upside Down cake for Easter family dinners. She is survived by her nieces Mary Jean Loftis of Silverton, OR and Karen Hachmann of Livermore, CA and her nephews James Johnson of San Diego, CA and Ronald Casella of Cupertino, CA.
