Joseph was born March 11, 1966 in Tucumcari New Mexico to Mucio and Kathleen Lopez. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari. Also member of VFW Post 2528 Auxiliary and of the Knights of Columbus
Surviving his are his parents Mucio and Kathleen Lopez of the home. Siblings – Eric Lopez of Tucumcari., Shirley Tarango & Mark of El Paso TX, Rosemary Rodriguez & Bobby San Antonio Tx, and Christine Lane & Mark also of San Antonio, Tx. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Mr & Mrs Lawrence Mares and by Mr & Mrs DAvid Lopez.
Rosary will be recited on Friday November 7, 2025 in the St. Anne's Catholic Church beginning at 10:15 AM with Mass to follow at
11:00 AM. Pall bearers will be Mucio Apodaca, Matthew Apodaca, Christopher Dominguez, Antonio Lopez III, Louie Lucero Jr. , and Matthew Madore. Honorary bearers will be Eric Lopez, Bobby Rodriguez and Marcos Tarango. Interment will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery all under the direction of the Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari NM.
