Juanita Jacobs, 78, of Clovis, NM died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at her home in Clovis. Visitation will be held at Muffley Fuenral Home Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 27, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2014, at Mission Garden of Memories with Mike Trower officiating.
Juanita was born July 22, 1935, to Walton and Iva (Foster) Trower in Hollene, NM. She worked as a housekeeper and was of the Nazerine Faith.
Survivors include OM Jacobs, David (Jan) Barrows of North Fork, CA, Danny Barrows of Clovis, NM, Tracy (Mitzi) Barrows of Clovis, NM, Jake Jacobs Jr. of Kennewick, WA, Debbie Kovacs of Longview, TX, David Jacobs of Longview, TX, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, David A. Barrows, three sisters, grandson, Timothy Barrows, and daughter-in-law, Donna Taylor.

I have known Juanita for many years, I use to wait on her and Danny when I worked at S&S Supermarket. I enjoyed checking them out and visiting with them. I know she will be extremely missed by her family and they are in my thoughts and prayers.

Through the years Juanita has given comfort and help to our family. She will be sorely missed. She was our friend and "family". I have known her for 40 years and felt like she was a part of our family. May you be comforted in your time of grief. With love to you all.
