Minnie Pearl McClendon, 83, died April 29, 2016, at Plains Regional Medical Center, Clovis, NM. Services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016, 2:00 pm, at First Church of God in Christ, Clovis, NM, with Pastor Robert Grimes officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories, Clovis, NM. Pallbearers will be Waymond McClendon, Frank Collins IV, Elton McClendon, Fred McClendon, Chris McClendon, and Larry McClendon Jr.
Minnie was born March 1, 1933, in Coolidge, TX, to Garland Green and Alberta L. Bradley. She married EJ McClendon in Cooledge, TX. She was a caregiver and a member of First Church of God in Christ Church. Minnie collected knick knacks and enjoyed taking care of family.
Survivors include: 5 Sons; Elgin McClendon, Lavelle McClendon, and Rodney McClendon, all of Amarillo, TX, David McClendon and Larry McClendon, both of Clovis, NM, 4 Daughters; Mary Ann Roberson of Dallas, TX, Diane Collins of Arlington, TX, Rosalind Coble of Amarillo, TX, and Denise Jordan of Clovis, NM, 4 Siblings; Velma McClendon and Oscar Bradley Jr both of Amarillo, TX, Annie Mae Westmorland and Ernestine Hollings both of Dallas, TX, 68 Grandchildren, 59 Great-Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Husband; EJ McClendon, her Parents; Garland and Alberta Bradley, a Son; Edward McClendon, 2 Daughters; Betty and Renee McClendon and 4 siblings.
