Molly Faye Miller, 76, passed peacefully from this life on the morning of November 5, 2025, near Prosper, Texas, where she had been residing.
Molly was born on October 28, 1949, in Silver City, New Mexico, to Betty (Snow) and Bob Coker. The family later relocated to Roswell, New Mexico, where Molly grew up and graduated from Roswell High School in 1967. It was there that she met the love of her life, Terry Miller, and the two were married on April 20, 1968.
In 1969, Terry was transferred from the Safeway store in Roswell to the Portales location so he could complete his college degree. Molly devoted more than twenty years to raising their family as a stay-at-home mother before beginning work in the Portales Junior High School lunchroom in 1990. Shortly after, she joined Van Winkle's IGA, where she worked in the Deli and eventually became Deli Manager. In the early 2000s, Molly began working at Doug Saul State Farm Insurance Agency in Clovis, remaining there until her retirement, shortly after Terry's passing in 2018.
During her years in Portales, Molly was an active member of University Baptist Church, where she joyfully sang in the choir. Following Terry's death, she lived with her brother Mike in Alvarado, Texas, later moving to Glenwood, Iowa, to be near her son and his family. Most recently, she made her home near Prosper, Texas, with her son Shaun and his family.
Molly found great joy in painting, crafting, and spending time with her family and friends-the people she loved most.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, James Michael and Dawn Miller of Glenwood, Iowa, and Shaun and Raylene Miller of Prosper, Texas; five grandchildren, Jason (Tamara) Miller of Portales, New Mexico, Kayla (Bryan) Sauer of Kansas City, Missouri, Jordyn Miller of Glenwood, Iowa, Logan Miller of Celina, Texas, and Hayden Miller of Denton, Texas; and six great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Draven, and Jaxon Miller, Preston Eldon and Payton Anne Sauer, and Asher Miller. She is also survived by her brothers Joel Coker of Princeton, Louisiana, and William Coker of Roswell, New Mexico.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Bob Coker; brothers Bobby and Michael Coker; and her beloved husband Terry Miller, who passed away on March 9, 2018, following nearly fifty years of marriage.
In keeping with Molly's wishes, no services are planned.
