Dear Mrs. Hammond, Jane and Berry, and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Lon and I were friends of Patti's and loved her. Patti and I spent many wonderful weekends at my cabin in Alto, and she always spoke of her fond childhood memories in Ruidoso.
We met at ENMU and both enjoyed teaching, especially literature and poetry! We spent lots of good times at
the Cattle Baron eating the "Adkin's"
Prime Rib, reciting poems, and sharing our children's latest accomplishments! She always kept me updated on Jeff and Brian as well as all of her family.
Patti and I reunited at Kelly's last summer and she was excited and passionate about her students and teaching position in Espanola. I know she helped so many children.
Patti was my friend and I shall miss my friend.
In Sympathy,
Karen Alexander

I enjoyed being in class with Patti in high school. She was smart, friendly, funny, and energetic. My best memory was spending evenings studying at Patti's house with students in Mr. Robinson's senior math class.

My condolence to Ms. Patty's family. Ms. Patty was a great friend, awesome teacher and a great example of a human being. You will be forever in my heart. I am so honored to have met you. God Bless the family and comfort their hearts during this time. Heaven just got another Angel.

We send our love to Patti's family. Perhaps her greatest achievement in life was her two sons and what they've achieved so far in their lives. She will be greatly missed by Jeff and Brian (and Michelle and Fiona, her sweet granddaughter). We will keep all of you in our prayers.
