Ted Queener Obituary

Ted Queener, a devoted family man, skilled craftsman, and lifelong adventurer, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. Born to a family bound by love and resilience, Ted was predeceased by his parents, Clyde and Dovie, two brothers, Bill and Bud, and his sisters, LenaMerle and Pam. He is survived by his cherished sister, Margie, with whom he shared a deep bond, his sons, Dusty and Stormy and and his wife Tod.

Ted graduated from New Mexico State University and was an accomplished mechanical engineer. A dedicated worker, Ted spent much of his career with Shell, where his work took him on travels across the country and as far as Saudi Arabia, yet he always remained deeply rooted in family. His adventures included travel to many countries. Ted was an exceptional woodworker, finding joy in creating with his hands, a passion that was passed to his son Dusty. From a young age, he also found a passion for hunting, a love he passed on to his son Stormy. His legacy continues through his grandchildren-Quinten, Andrea, Elizabeth, and James and his great granddaughter, Evelyn for each of whom he adored and who will carry forward his memory.

Ted's love for his family was boundless. He cherished time spent with family in New Mexico, where he visited his beloved nieces and nephews, Coletta, Jeff, Brent, Rick, Todd, Kemp, Jay, Karen, Cindy, Kathy, Mike, Pat and their families, keeping close ties with his extended family. His humor, warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to those he loved will be profoundly missed but forever remembered.
