Thomas Box Obituary
He was married to Genevieve K. Jackson for 35 years, and they were longtime residents of Grady, where they farmed and ranched. They attended the Broadview Church of the Nazarene in Broadview. He was very passionate about his children and grandchildren as well as playing his guitar and singing in church, family members said.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grady Box; his in-laws, Virgil and Alta Jackson; and a daughter, Syndy Shaddix.
He is survived by his wife, Gene Box; five children, Mike, Keith, Sonny, David and Virgil; his mother, Rosie B. Box; his siblings, Marcie, Grady, and LaVell; his grandchildren, Monique, Jeff, Mary, Natasha, Rachel, Shanna, Brittney, Austin, Kevin, Jordan, Jeremy, Brandon and Brian; his six great-granddaughters; and his brother-in-law, Bo Jackson.
Pastor Garth Hyde will officiate, and a time of fellowship will follow the services.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association.
