Funeral services for Chad Michael Braun, 53, of Van Buren, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel at Forever Memories Services, under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services.
Mr. Braun was born on Nov. 8, 1971, in Elko, Nev., to Michael Lawrence Braun and Claire June (Woodson) McDowell. He died on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, in Van Buren.
He was a welder and enjoyed fishing and being with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Braun; daughters, Mercedes Paige and Joe Cantu of Tulsa and Katlynn J. Braun of Vian; step-daughter, Kyleigh Phillips of Van Buren; siblings, Shaun E. Braun of Fayetteville, Ark., Jackie D. Fritts of Gore, Jesse D. Swafford of St. Louis, Joshua J.Swafford of Savannah, Ga., Charles D. Swafford of Pampa, Texas and Elise Bigrigg of Sparks, Nev.; his father, of Reno, Nev.; mother, of Pampa; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter's mother, Terre Delude.
Pallbearers were Katlynn Braun and Daigon Mercell.
