Graveside services for Gerald Babb, 80, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Babb was born on Aug. 9, 1943, in Tulsa, to Bertha Ellen (Rogers) Babb and Sherman Wallace Babb. He passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Fort Smith, Ark.
He was married to Dagmar Kuhl on March 26, 1964, in Frankfurt, Germany.
He was a Communications Specialist for the U.S. Army.
Survivors are his wife, Dagmar Babb of the home; one son, Michael Babb and Tiffany of Clayton, N.C.; one granddaughter; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold Babb; and sister, Carol Sparks.
