Jerry D. Lasiter
May 17, 1931 – April 10, 2025

Jerry D. Lasiter, 93, of Fort Smith, Ark., passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025. He was born on May 17, 1931, in Black Jack to Dave and Essie (Fouts) Lasiter.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Mr. Lasiter was a retired U.S. Army veteran and serviced two duties in Vietnam. After retirement, he became a truck driver. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors are a son, Jerry Lasiter and wife Julia of Roland; two daughters, Jacci Skadak of Oklahoma City and Debra Lasiter of Fairbanks, Alaska; one adopted son, Steve Lasiter; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Philip and Billy Lasiter; and grandson, Bryan Lasiter.
