Sue Burton Cline, 88, of Gans, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025 in Barling, Ark.
She was born on Oct. 9, 1936, in Gans, to Alsie (Hicks) Foyil and William Foyil.
Sue was a nurse for Dr. Joe Mason for 40 years and loved to play marbles, bingo, and was always rooting for the Sooners.
Survivors are her grandson, Preston Waters of Santa Fe, N.M.; classmate, Gertie Barber of Gans; former daughter-in-law, Cindy Swain; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Cline; and son, David Waters.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date.

Sue and I loved each other as if we were sisters. We shared many memories and laughs about our former years of attending school at Gans from first grade until we graduated in 1955. We kept closely in contact throughout the years, and she will truly be missed.
