Funeral services for Tommy Zelph "Tom" Richison, 84, formerly of Coweta, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, at Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Richison was born on Feb. 20, 1941, in Charleston, Ark., to Newell Barton Richison and Justine Imogene (Riley) Richison. He died on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, Oklahoma City.
He earned a Doctorate in Education from the University of Tulsa, was a 32nd Degree Mason and an amateur radio operator.
He married Irma Dean Scott on Nov. 27, 1968, in Sallisaw.
Survivors include his wife, Irma Dean Scott-Richison; one daughter, Michelle Anderson; son-in-law, David Anderson; and one grandson.
