Dodie and Sonny had four children, Connie Turner of Ocala, John Anderson (Angie) of Marianna, Tillie Ware (Rex) of Tallahassee, and Mary Pate Handley (Randall) of Monticello; 14 grandchildren, Amy Perry (Rob), JoAnne Buzzett (Brad), Rob Turner, Katie Addison (Matthew), Davis Ware (Laurel), Patrick Ware, Alex Ware, John Anderson (Brandee), Max Anderson, Casey Handley, Hunter Handley (Taylor), Betsy Chance (Lane), Dori Collins (Van), and Alisha Williams (Jason); and 14 great-grandchildren.
