Janice Brown Obituary

Mrs. Janice Faye Brown, age 51, died Wednesday March 5, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Statesboro. A native of Savannah, she attended Effingham County High School. Janice was a former district manager for the Statesboro Herald and was currently employed with Georgia Southern University as a landscaper.
Janice's greatest joy was time spent playing with her grandchildren and traveling to the mountains.
Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Brandi Johnson Sanders and John Sanders of Twin City and Heather Johnson Sikes of Brooklet; her father and stepmother, Billy and Marilyn Brown of Rockyford; and her mother, Betty Rogers of Sylvania; a sister, Patty Bullard of Savannah and three grandchildren, Payne Sanders, Creed Sanders and Ryan Sikes. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Friday, March 7 from 5-7 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 8 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
Friends may sign the online register book at www.joineranderson.com.
Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear about Janice. It was wonderful to see Janice, Mrs. Betty and Mr. Billy a few months ago even though it was a very sad time for my family. Janice's family and my family were neighbors growing up. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
