David Okrasinski Obituary

David Francis Okrasinski, 56, of South Elgin, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 4, 2017. He was born on January 25, 1961 in Chicago, IL the son of James "Jim" & Janetta Okrasinski. David graduated from St. Edward Central Catholic High School in 1979. He worked for Jorson and Carlson Company in Elk Grove Village. David loved sports, was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, loved music and most of all his family, who will all miss him. Survivors include his beloved wife: Barbara (Burkeen) Okrasinski, whom he had been happily married to since June 18, 1983. Sisters: Cathy Okrasinski, and Dianna Okrasinski; Brothers: Jim Okrasinki, Mark (Christina) Okrasinski and Jeffrey (Jeanne) Okrasinski; Sister-in-laws: Vicky (Bill) Howard and Deborah (Mark) Pasholk. 6 Nephews: Curtis (Lisa) Stowe, Mark Pasholk, Jason (Freya) Okrasinski, Douglas Okrasinski, Andrew (Kimberly) Maciejewski and Eli Okrasinski; 5 nieces: Elizabeth (Damien) Fisher, Kelly (Oliver) Pasholk, Noelle Okrasinski, Ruthie Okrasinski and Anna Okrasinski; 5 Great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. Funeral services will be private.
