Rick...I was thinking about you today and hoping that you are doing alright. Although it is hard to lose those that we love, we know that we wouldn't want them to suffer, and thank God for his mercies. As the days go by think of your Mum in happier times, times when you laughed and enjoyed each other's company, and know that she loved you with all of her heart.
Lots of Love

Dear Ritchason Family,
We send our deepest sympathy to you all. I know all to well the heaviness you have in your hearts right now. I hope you can take comfort in all the wonderful memories you have. I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother but as I heard you speak at the service, it was very evident to me she was a wonderful woman. One who touched everyone she came in contact with. Rick I will keep you in my prayers. Just call if you need anything or just need to talk.

Dear Rick,
We were very sorry to hear about your mom. Stacey had always talked about you and your mom and want you to know that our thoughts are with you. Even though we haven't met yet, we feel strongly that if you are such a dear friend to our niece, you are also a special part of our lives. Thank you for all you have done and you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Rick and family,
Words can't express how saddened I am by the loss of your mom. She has been a part of my life for so many years, and had opened her heart and home to me as part of the family. She was always able to make me smile and laugh. And I will never forget all the fun times we had together. She watched my boys grow up, and was always proud of their accomplishments, as she was yours. I don't think I have ever seen a mom so proud of her son. Her eyes lit up everytime your name was mentioned, and I could see how much she loved you. She will be deeply missed, but will always live in my heart as the most wonderful, kindest, sweetest and generous person I have ever met. My world was a better place with her in my life, and I know that she will always be watching over us. I love you Rick, and hope and pray that you are able to get through this and remember all the good times. Take care and please know that I am always here if you should ever need me.
Love Always, Stacey

Uncle Rocky, Lonnie, Linda, Beth Ann, Ricky & Family,

We want to express our love and heart-felt sympathy to each of you. We know that you are comforted in knowing that Aunt Gerri's pain has ended. We visited her several weeks ago at Sherman and even in her awful pain she was able to show her love for family. When we asked how long she'd been in the hospital, her personality was still intact.

Aunt Gerri had such a giving heart, a can-do attitude, a great sense of humor and a loving spirit. We are thankful that she was our Aunt. We, too, will miss her.

With our love and prayers,
Gary & Dee Ritchason

To Rocky, Linda, Beth, Rick and family,

We are so sorry for the loss of your warm, generous and charismatic Wife and Mom (our Aunt) Gerri.

Our family will always remember her as a person who was cheerful, thoughtul and filled with love of life and love for others. How many lives have been touched by her work, volunteerism, and especially her foster care, will never be known. What is known is that she most assuredly affected others in a positive way, and a chain reaction of goodness and love will forever emanate in the world through those whose lives she touched.

A very wonderful person - our loss, heaven's gain.

Goodbye, sweet Aunt Gerri

Love to all,
Terry and Beth Ritchason and family
