Robert passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024.
Preceded in death by his son, Robert Jr.; daughter, Rita Skold; and wife, Rita Jochum.
Survived by children, Barbara Hollenbeck, Jean Hendrickx, Jeffrey (Kristen) Jochum, Joseph (Rebecca) Jochum; 10 grandchildren, Aimee (Brad) Bone, Erin Prest (Jake Hase), Steven (Autumn) Richardson, Andy Chesser, Elizabeth Hendrickx, Jessica (Josh) Chase, Eric Jochum, Katie Jochum (Omar Carlo), Patrick (Brandi) Hendrickx and Madison Jochum; nine great-grandchildren, Adison Prest, Derby Bone, Trent Richardson, Stella Bone, Ryder Hase, Taylor Chase, Wyatt Hase, Noah Chase, Korbin Hendrickx.
Robert spent over 38 years being a Production Supervisor at FMC. He was the original do-it-yourself person and could fix, repair, build or restore almost anything. He had many hobbies over the years, but his favorite one was when he retired in 1994 to his hobby farm in Elk River where he enjoyed growing crops, caring for animals, and riding his tractor.
Robert will be missed by all who knew and loved him; the farm won't be the same without him.

I want to send my condolences to the Jochum family. Your dad grandfather, great grandfather was one of the best people I ever worked with. My prayers are with the family Bob will be missed but he is united with his wife and family that proceeded him. Bless you!
