David A. Yost, 63, of Elkhart, left his mark on this world on Monday, April 18, 2022, at home.
Dave was born in South Bend, Indiana, on Dec. 27, 1958, to the late Dale Yost and Jean (Corroza) Snyder. He was married to Debra (Williams) Yost on July 6, 2010, in Juno, Alaska. David is preceded in death by his parents; second wife, Roxanne Hackman; and siblings, Dale Yost, Becky Bland and Doug Yost.
Dave is survived by his wife, Debra Yost of Elkhart; children, Mike Yost (Jessi), Jeremy Jay Yost (Courtney), Shelli Yost (Marcus), Joshua Yost (Sonia), Kris Grondz (Michael), Melissa Miller, Pam (Francisco) Miller, Angela Hall (David) and Amanda Sanderson; siblings, Brian Yost (Christine), Danny Yost, Lynette Vendola and Paul Turrell; former wife, Michelle Russel; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and extended friends with whom he worked throughout the years.
Dave was a supervisor with Thor Motor Coach for 17 years. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. Dave loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles and could be found taking to the "open road." He was a collector of guns, admired tattoos and enjoyed woodworking.
Dave was unique and unforgettable and always left an impression with anyone he came in contact with. Most of all, Dave was a family man and considered his work family like blood.
A Celebration of Dave's Life will be held on Sunday, May 15, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Ox Bow Park Haus Shelter, 23033 County Road 45, Goshen, IN 46528. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514, is assisting the family.
