Jeffrey Albert Mark

1958 - 2024

Dr. Jeffrey Albert Mark of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the age of 65. Jeff fought hard and his pain has come to an end, he is whole again and rejoicing in Heaven!

He was born on Nov. 23, 1958, in El Bonita, Puerto Rico, to Ruth Ann (Litwiller) and Richard Clarence Mark. Jeff grew up in Elkhart, Indiana, and was a 1977 graduate of Concord High School in Elkhart. He went on to earn his doctorate from Indiana University in Bloomington. Jeff found his calling as a doctor and worked at Elkhart General Hospital for over 25 years as a trusted surgeon. He gave his best life's work to helping others with surgery on the many patients he cared for over the years. He possessed intelligence, professionalism, and conscientiousness on behalf of his patients and colleagues. Overall he was a very quiet person, but when he spoke it was worth listening to ... he could surprise you with one of his many one liners!

Jeff was married on Jan. 4, 2017, in Goshen, Indiana, to Brenda Kay Eisenbeiss, who survives. He lived in Bristol, Indiana, prior to moving to Warsaw in 2018 and was a member of Pleasant View Bible Church. Jeff was also a familiar face at the Men's Bible Study Fellowship at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Jeff was quite the outdoorsman, from camping, hunting, hiking he was always at home in nature. He especially enjoyed spending time in Grand Marais, Michigan. He loved going fast, especially in cars and boats. Jeff had a passion to travel and to see the world. Most of all he dearly loved his family near and far. He and his three brothers always enjoyed reminiscing about their childhood antics and had many a story to share. Jeff was a loving son, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and a friend to many. He would most want to be remembered for his faith in his Savior Jesus Christ.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Brenda Mark (Warsaw, Indiana); two sons, Andrew (Breanna) Mark (Goshen, Indiana); Jon Mark (Reedley, California); three step-sons, Matthew Moore (Mishawaka, Indiana); Tyler (Jaime) Moore (Warsaw, Indiana); Nicolas (Vicki) Moore (Colorado Springs, Colorado). Also surviving are six grandsons and one new grandchild on the way; his mother, Ruth Mark (Goshen, Indiana); and three brothers, Wayne (Susan Schroder) Mark (Elkhart, Indiana), Wes (Mary Harter) Mark (South Bend, Indiana), and James (Audra) Mark (Elkhart, Indiana). He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Mark.

Friends and family may visit from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, at Pleasant View Bible Church, 2782 W. 200 N., Warsaw, Indiana. There will also be an hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday, July 26, from 10 to 11 a.m. Jeff's life will be celebrated with a service at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 26, at Pleasant View Bible Church, and officiated by Pastor Mike Hontz. A graveside service will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Warsaw. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
