Kenneth R. Kauffman, 72, Goshen, died 10 a.m. Sunday, July 9, 2023, at his home. He was born Aug. 9, 1950, in South Bend to James R. and Faye V. (Weaver) Kauffman. On Jan. 31, 1970, he married Pamela Ellen Kauffman.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela, Goshen; four children, Christopher (Tracy) Kauffman, Decatur, Alabama, Ronald (Paula) Kauffman, Elkhart, Jeffrey Kauffman, Goshen, and Caitlyn Kauffman, Goshen; three grandchildren, Jamie (Aubrey) Kauffman, Danielle (Aaron) McAbee, Brittany Kauffman and Anastasia (Carlos) Solache; eight great-grandchildren, Khali, Kanchi, Kai, Andrew, Aedan, Yaritizi, Xtochitl and Mictoan; and two siblings, Roger (Joyce) Kauffman, Goshen, and Charlene (David) Vicsik, Mishawaka.
Preceding him in death are his parents and grandson, Kristopher Brooks.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1979. He worked for much of his life as a mechanic and most recently for Dunlap Auto Deals. He was a former member of Ruffriders 4-Wheel Drive Club, and he enjoyed going camping with the family when the children were young.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon with a funeral service following at noon Thursday, July 13, all at Rieth Rohrer Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Pastor Anthony Cottrell will officiate.
