Lawrence A. Hein, 89, passed away Dec. 29, 2021, at Courtyard Healthcare in Goshen.
He was born Nov. 29, 1932, in Elkhart to Albert and Ethel (Paston) Hein.
On May 3, 1952, he married Gloria Haven; she preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Shannon Dill; and three siblings, Howard Hein, Ruby Fry and Mary Runyon.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Hein and Mike (Angie) Hein; three grandchildren, Stacey (Nate) Gautsche, Julie Lambright and Adam (Leah Bloom) Hein; and two great-grandchildren, Bryce Dill and Lucas Lambright.
Lawrence was a U.S. Army veteran and a member or the D.A.V. Chapter 15 in Goshen. He enjoyed spending his time at the D.A.V and fishing on Stone Lake.
Per his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be given to the D.A.V. Chapter 15 in Goshen.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Larry and Mike,so sorry to hear this of Uncle Lawrence what a great guy and always so much fun to be around. He will truly be missed by all that new him. Love you uncle Lawrence R.I.P.
