Linda D. Hess, 71, of Edwardsburg, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Greenleaf Health Campus in Elkhart, Indiana.
She was born on Sept. 10, 1952, in Decatur, Indiana, to Harold B. and MaryLou (Hofstetter) Miller. She married Norbert Hess on Nov. 11, 1978, in Decatur.
Linda loved yorkies, the Cubs and neighbor kids. She also loved Elvis, Engelbert and the color blue.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Norbert; her sons, Mitchell R. Hess and Alexander L. (Nicole) Hess-Waldron; her sisters: Cheryl Maller, Janet (Gary) Smith, Deb (Rod) Owens and Patricia Johnson; her brothers: Scott Miller and Jeff (Kelley) Miller; as well as her sister-in-law, Jan Miller. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Nathan A. Hess, her parents and a brother, Michael Miller.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at The Knights of Columbus in Decatur, Indiana.
