Mary McClane Obituary
Mary A. McClane, 87, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born March 28, 1938, in Goshen, Indiana, to Lester R. and Nellie Wantz.
She married Edward L. McClane, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 2010, in Elkhart. Also preceding her in death were her parents and two half siblings, Harold Lawyer and Carole Hoffman. Surviving are two sons, Bret McClane and Bart (Sara) McClane; four grandchildren, Toni McClane, Tara (Brandon) Taber, Kari McClane and Breann (John) Mrosewske; five great-grandchildren, Jaylean McClane, Khymoni McClane, Jariyel McClane, Kingsley and Charley Mrosewske; and her twin sister, Martha Miller.
Mary was the owner of the Sports Locker Lounge in Elkhart for many years. She also was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles Arie and the DAV.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. A celebration service will follow at 6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
