Sue Carol Pippenger of South Bend died Thursday, May 1, 2025. She was 69.
Sue was born Sept. 3, 1955, to Ray and Naomi Pippenger of Nappanee. She graduated from Nappanee's NorthWood High School and Ball State University, Muncie. Sue had a rewarding career teaching students at the primary, secondary and adult education levels. She enjoyed traveling, bicycling, collecting treasures such as lighthouses and being with her family.
Sue is survived by her brother, Gary (Charlene) Pippenger of South Bend, her sister, Diane (Michael) Thomas of Oklahoma City, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew, all of whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private burial will be held at South Union Cemetery, Nappanee.
