Thomas Krotzer Obituary

Thomas "Ed" Krotzer, 78, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Ed was born in Kendallville, Indiana, on April 20, 1947, John Krotzer and Gladys (Helzel) Krotzer.

Ed is preceded in death by parents John and Gladys.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Tamara Rose of Ligionier, Indiana, and son, Larry Dean Krotzer of Fort Wayne; sisters, Connie Glass and Fern Wentworth; family friend, Sandy Schroeder; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Ed was an accomplished and talented carpet layer for most of his life working in the RV industry. He was very handy and could fix anything.

Ed could be found playing pool with his friend at Phil's Corners. In his free time, Ed enjoyed BBQ cookouts and hanging out with his family and friends around the bonfire. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and mushroom hunting.

Most of all, he enjoyed hanging out with family and friends.

Ed had a big heart and he would give the shirt off of his back.
