Barbara Mae (Johnson) Morgan passed away surrounded by her family August 18, 2013 in Elko, Nevada of natural causes.
She was born on October 27, 1927 in Ophir, Utah to Frank and Hazel Johnson.
On July 3, 1946, she married the love of her life, Glen Morgan. During their marriage they lived in Ophir and Montello, Nevada; Moab and Oracle, Arizona and the best part of their lives in Wendover, Utah until Glen's retirement when they returned to Tooele. After his death, Barbara moved to Elko, Nv. to live with her daughter and granddaughter. She was a homemaker and loved to spend her time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to knit, read and work in her yard.
Barbara is survived by her children: Billy (Kelly) Morgan, Grantsville; Ginny (Rick) Lacy, Green River, WY; Glenna Richey (Ray Reynolds), Elko, Nv; and brother, Frank "Bud" (Donna) Johnson; Tooele, Ut. She has seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Vila Waters; son-in-law, Philip Richey; grandson, James Waters; sisters: Donna Russel, Betty Sagers, Joyce Connolly, Noreen Johnson and brother Ray Johnson.
Services will be held Friday, August 23, 2013 at Tate Mortuary in Tooele, Utah. Viewing from 11:30 -12:30 and services to follow at 1:00pm. Internment at Tooele Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either Huntsman Cancer Institute or Highland Manor Activity Department at 2850 Ruby View Drive, Elko, Nv. 89801.
