A memorial service was held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Elko, NV, and Charlotte was buried at the Kearney Cemetery in Kearney, NE.
Charlotte Elizabeth Schneider, passed away on July 1, 2024, at Highland Village. She was born in Ogallala, NE on August 12, 1938, to Wilbert and Eleanor Hodde and was the oldest of three daughters.
She is survived by her three step-children: John (Kay) of Oberlin, KS, Thom (Cindy) of Kearney, and Beth (Steve) Evans of Holdrege, NE; two sisters: Carlyn (Jim) Roth, and Joyce (Fred) Nass; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bruce; grandsons, Corey Richards, and Terry Schneider; and great-grandson, Kade Richards.
In Memory of Charlotte's love for the church and preschool, gifts can be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church for a stained-glass window and preschool resources.
