With broken hearts and deep love, we share the passing of Curlin Joseph Archuleta, who left us on May 3, 2025, at the age of 51. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud son and brother, and a selfless man whose life was defined by hard work, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to his family.

Born on February 17, 1974, to Solo and Cindy Archuleta, Curlin was raised with the values of integrity, grit, and love. These values carried him through a life that touched so many. For over 30 years, he worked on the drill rigs through long days, endless nights, and time away from home never for recognition, but simply to give his family the very best life he possibly could.

Curlin's greatest pride was his family. He was married to his soulmate, Jennifer Archuleta, and together they built a life filled with love, strength, and deep devotion. He was a proud father to Tavin and Anissa Archuleta, who were the heartbeat of his world. Every sacrifice he made, every mile he traveled, every hour he worked was for them.

Despite his demanding work, Curlin made every moment at home count. He lived for weekends at the lake, throwing the kids off the tube just to hear their laughter echo across the water. He loved taking trips to new places, exploring the dunes on four-wheelers with family and friends, and filling the air with joy, jokes, and his unmistakable smile.

Curlin was a man who always put others before himself. He carried a quiet strength, a steady hand, and a heart that gave without hesitation. He made sure those around him were safe, cared for, and never left behind. His love was constant, and his presence whether near or far was deeply felt.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Archuleta; his children, Tavin and Anissa; his parents, Solo and Cindy Archuleta; and his sister, Consuela Archuleta. He leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and resilience that will live on in every life he touched.

In keeping with Curlin's wishes, the family will be holding a private Celebration of Life to honor the man who gave so much and asked for so little. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
