John Wayne Williams
March 17, 1966 – October 15, 2021
In memoriam of John Wayne Williams. On October 15th, 2021, John lost his battle against COVID with his family by his side. He leaves behind his partner and best friend, his two children, two siblings, his grandchildren he adored, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless numbers of friends.
John made a friend everywhere he went, we called him our social butterfly, and he was always willing to help anyone in need. He had an endless amount of people who knew him and loved him. Everyone was always welcome at his home with a cold beer waiting for them. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, camping, side-by-side riding, golfing, and any activity that required being outdoors. He loved riding motorcycles and Kawasaki of course was the only model ever made.
John worked for several mines during his career with his last being with 3-Rivers Drilling and Blasting Company as a Supervisor. He loved what he did and he also owned his own business providing MSHA training.
John is survived by his partner Micki Wines, his son Michael (Monique) Williams, daughter Ashley (CJ) Brown, stepson's Josh and Tate Wines, brother Rod (Joyce) Williams, sister Tonya (Chad) Ogden, grandson's Ty, Gage, and N'Kai, and granddaughters Gracie, Emma, Evan, Sekoya, and Nokomi.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred (Ace) and Sandra Williams, and John Thrasher (father).
A Celebration of Life is planned for Friday, November 19th, at 2 pm and will be held at the Ely Elks Lodge located at 694 Campton Street. Ely, Nevada.
We love you, we will miss you so very much, and you will never be forgotten.
