Jordan Wright Obituary
Jordan had a deep love of family and tradition. In particular, he loved his Basque heritage after living in and visiting San Sebastian on numerous occasions. He connected with people of all cultures and was an unofficial ambassador of anyone visiting from Spain or South America. He enjoyed being able to communicate in Spanish and making people feel comfortable. We have so many more "family" members because of Jordan's generosity. His home was always open to friends.
Jordan was the kind of person who was able to connect with most everyone he met. He not only had a lot of friends, he had a lot of really good friends. We have heard more than once how he made someone's day better by just showing up and caring. He could also tease and harass us all when he got a chance, we will miss that salty sense of humor as much as anything. We will miss him showing up with food when we were too busy for lunch, always thinking about the people he cared for. Even though we feel a devastating sadness, it is comforting to know he is now free of his pain. He was so strong and courageous, looking forward to getting past his surgery and on to his next adventure. His spirit and love of life will continue to be an inspiration. We are so grateful for our time together.
He is survived by his parents, Jay and Glynis, his sister Jillian, brother Jason, Jason's wife, Julia, and their son James, and so many friends/family.
A celebration of life will be held May 17th at the Basque house in Elko.

I was so saddened to hear of Jordan´s passing. I only had the chance to meet him a couple of times, His kindness and genuine smile made a lasting impression on me. It was clear he was a special person who brought light to the people around him. He will be greatly missed by so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

So sad to lose such a perfect person. Jordan was always happy to see me. The last time, we were in line at Albertsons pharmacy and being loud and laughing and making others enjoy us or annoyed by us ;) I will miss seeing him. Sending so much love to Jay, Glynis, Jill, Jason, Julia, James and his aunts and uncle. God Bless!
