Joseph Vignali Obituary

Joseph Louis Vignali

September 8, 1956 - October 16, 2021

Joe Louis Vignali, husband, father, brother, and friend gave up his earthly duties and moved on to his eternal home Oct 16, 2021. His wife Lynne, daughters Jessica and Krystal and brother Jerry were at his side. His abrupt departure, after a four year well fought battle against a relentless cancer, happened too soon and his presence in our lives is sorely missed.

He worked at Champion Libby, MT on the Green Chain and as Edger Operator (1975-1993) before and after his Military Service and at Barrick Gold Mines Elko, NV Heavy Equipment Operator (1994-2019).

During the years he was married to Roxanne, he became a stepfather to David Hopper, and a father to Jessica and Krystal Vignali, who he loved completely and supported throughout their childhoods and into their adult lives with his tireless manual labor career. God brought Joe and Lynne together as one in marriage on May 23, 2012, culminating in a beautiful union of just over 10 years altogether. Joe retired in 2019 and moved to Texas to be closer to family and medical facilities.

Joe is survived by his wife, Anita Lynne, at Blessing, TX; two daughters, Jessica Marie Vignali (Nicole) Moya of Burbank, CA and Krystal Jo Vignali of Sanford, NC; stepson David (Brie) Hopper of Spokane Valley, WA sisters Cathy Prichard of Liberty Lake, WA, Chris (Steve) Moon of Post Falls, ID, and Cindy (Jim) Sutherland of Libby, MT; three brothers, Jim (D.D.) Vignali of Bogata TX, Jerry (Sharon) Vignali of Corvallis, OR, and John (Annie) Vignali of Libby, MT; Uncle Emil Vignali of Libby, MT, Aunt Margie Lambert of Surprise, AZ. Ten nieces and nephews as well as grand-nieces and nephews on the Vignali side; On Joe's wife side of the family, Stepchildren: Tonia (Michael) Johnson, Winnemucca, NV, Timothy (Shausty) Timko , Cypress, TX, & Michael (Lori) Timko of Winnemucca, NV. Lynn's brother, Arthur (Connie) Lewis of Old Lyme, CT and Andra Lewis of Baytown, TX, fourteen step grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and twelve nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Therese Vignali, his infant brother, Paul, and his niece, Makayla Vignali and brother-in-law, Bill Lewis.

And so our little brother, with your beautiful, gentle soul, the privilege and the pleasure's been all ours, to have you in our lives and hold you in our hearts. Soar free now in that beauty and grace where you now reside. Loving you now and forever.

A memorial service will be held in Joe's honor in the spring of 2022 in Libby, MT.
