Oran Belcher Obituary

November 1967- January 2016

Spring Creek, NV – Bryan Belcher, 48 passed away suddenly on Friday, January 29, 2016 at his home in Spring Creek. Bryan was a former resident of Rock Spring, WY and had lived in Spring Creek since 1996.

Bryan was born in El Paso, TX in November 1967 to the late Wintz and Vivian Sueann Belcher. After moving from Texas to Wyoming, Bryan attended schools in Rock Spring, WY and was a 1986 graduate of Rock Springs High School. Bryan received a BA in Elementary Education in 1991 from the University of Wyoming and his MA in Special Education in 1995 from Northwestern State.

Bryan married Seana Hinesley on November 27, 2002 in Elko, NV and they made their home in Spring Creek, NV.

Bryan began his teaching career in 1991 at Northpark Elementary in Rock Springs, WY. In 1996 he moved to Spring Creek, NV where he continued teaching Special Education at Spring Creek Elementary.

Bryan's interests included his time with family and friends, playing golf, loving he Chicago Cubs and rooting on his Wyoming Cowboys through thick and thin.

Survivors include his wife, Seana from Spring Creek, his mother Vivian "Susie" Belcher of Rock Springs, brother Joe Belcher and niece Holland from Gillette, Wy, uncle Charles "Chuck" Cross and wife Darlene from Modesto, CA, brother-in-law Dan Hinesley and wife Ellen from Rock Springs, WY, nieces Bryanne Gutierrez and husband Mike, their daughters Danni, Joey, Jordan and Jennifer Warner and husband Jason of Rock Springs, Erin Hinsley of Denver, CO, and several cousins.

Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Wintz Belcher, his maternal and paternal grandparents and his Aunt Betty Sederholm.

A celebration of Bryan's life will be held on Saturday, February 6, at 2:00p.m., at Jerman's Restaurant at Spring Creek Golf Course. The family respectfully suggests that any donations be made to the University of Wyoming Athletic Department or College of Education.
