PATRICIA ANDERSON Obituary

July 29, 1926-January 6, 2018

Patricia Heaney Anderson was born on July 29, 1926 in Helena, Montana. She passed away January 6, 2018 in The Woodlands, Texas. Pat moved to Flagstaff, Arizona at the age of five, after the death of her mother, to live with her paternal aunt. Here she would live until high school graduation.

Upon receiving her high school diploma in 1942, Pat moved to St. Louis to attend nursing school. It was here that she would meet her husband of over 60 years, David Anderson.

Pat became very adept at moving and making a warm and comfortable home for her two children and her husband, Dave, was transferred every eighteen months or so while he worked for Chevron Oil of California.

In 1971 Pat and Dave bought the Angle Creek Ranch in Clover Valley. They lived there until David's death in 2003. Pat then moved to Elko until 2010 when she moved to Houston to be closer to her son.

Pat loved her family and her church. You could always find Pat at her local Catholic Church doing what she could to help and sharing her faith. She enjoyed reading and remained an avid reader until her death. She was an active member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, David. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pami and Chuck Briggs of Elko, NV; her son and daughter-in-law, D. King and Ann Anderson of The Woodland, TX; her six grandsons; and her eight great-grandchildren.

Pat loved and was loved and she will be missed.
