Dear Leslie and family,
I cannot even begin to imagine the sorrow you must have endured in the past weeks. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I remember your mother and father being such such kind and loving people. They certainly hold a place in my "good memories" from growing up in Lamoille Valley.

I was so sad to hear of Shirley's passing. We worked at the phone company together for many years. She was a wonderful lady and good friend. Take comfort that Eldon and his Shirley-girl are reunited. You all are in my prayers.

Jon, Leslie and family, I am so saddened by your mother's passing. She was a very kind and classey woman. I worked with your mother at the telephone company and she was the first person there to make me welcome when I first started by taking me out to lunch. She will be missed by many people. I am so sorry about Shirley's passing. I will miss her as my neighbor and our visits in the garden on warm afternoons. I know she is in a good place now and with Eldon that should give you all comfort. You are all in my prayers and thoughts.
