Stephen (Steve) Floyd Searle, 69, born in Long Beach, CA on 6/14/43 passed away from pneumonia at Highland Manor early morning Feb 3, 2013. He worked at Red Lion for 25 years. He served as an MP in the army and fought for our country on more then one occasion. He was a well-known and loved member of Elko.
Survived by 5 siblings, Bill Fugar, Archie Searle, Helen Anderson, Velma [Melvin] Stewart, and Sharon [Larry] Fox; and by children Stephen Searle, Wendover, NV; Stephanie Fast, Las Vegas, NV; Samantha Searle, Yukon, OK; and Sarah [Chris] Payne, Oklahoma City, OK; and 10 grand children. Preceded in death by parents, Floyd Searle and Verla Fugar, 2 brothers, Bob Fugar and Dave Fugar and son Sean Searle.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday 2/9/2013 at the VFW, 731 VFW Dr., Elko, NV. It will be a potluck and bring your own bottle. Dress attire is casual.
