It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Tom Grant. Tom was born December 23, 1952 in Ogden, Utah to parents Thomas and Kitty Grant.

In Tom's earlier days he attended and graduated from Jackson – Wilson High School in Jackson, Wyoming where he was known for his well-done mustache, as well as for being the class president. In school Tom played football and softball, and he enjoyed skiing, mountain climbing, fishing and hunting. For a while he even held the record for 5+lbs small mouth bass. In his later years, Tom discovered golf and the stories he would tell about his games changed depending on whom he was telling them to.

On June 26, 1998, Tom married Jody and the pair became a super duo. They filled their marriage and life with unconditional love and much laughter. Tom was employed by Canyon Construction for 30 years and was known for his "Dozer 9". Tom was very proud of his family and was well known for his family adventures and stories.

Tom is preceded in death by father, Thomas; mother, Kitty and step-mother, Marjory. He is survived by wife, Jody; sister, Virginia (Richard); brother, Rick (Linda); son, Jake and nieces and nephews. Tom would be very humbled by all of the condolences his family has received by friends, both old and new. He was a good soul and freely gave his kindness and love to all who were in his life and they all knew it was a privilege to know him.

There will be a Celebration of Tom's Life at the City Park on September 25 at 11:00am. All are welcome and bring a chair.

As Tom said many times, "This is Dozer 9 signing off, God Bless us all.
