Scott was an awesome man. I am so sorry. I never had the pleasure of teaching him but he was so amazing, I got to know him. To know him is to love him.

Genia, Greg and I are thinking of you and praying for you. I can't even imagine your pain. I remember Scotty when he was just a baby and I was his babysitter for a short time. He was so cute and such a sweet baby. I know there is nothing anyone can do to truly comfort you right now, but just know that we care and and are heartbroken for you and your family. I met Scott in Doha. Scott was the one of the best friends a person could have. I am grateful for having been his friend. He was as American as you can be. He was a patriot. My heart and prayers go out to his family and many friends. He was loved and will be missed.

Scott was a wonderful young man who I met while we were both working overseas in the Middle East. We became good friends, and Scott was always a pleasure to be around. It is very hard to believe he has left us at such a young age, because he certainly had potentially the best years of his life ahead of him. Scott loved his country, his family and his friends, and would have done whatever necessary to protect them. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. God bless you Scott.
